wellness-driven workplace
ZF North American Headquarters
ZF downsized their offices to adopt a hybrid work environment. The design team worked closely with ZF’s stakeholders to identify the key drivers and goals of the renovation focusing on wellness and amenities.
vision
The renovation organized office space into neighborhoods based on an agile working method, with each neighborhood designed to promote collaboration, communication, and space efficiency.
detail
Neighborhoods consist of height-adjustable workstations, private offices, phone booths, meeting rooms, and a centrally located living room space for collaborative conversations or relaxation. Amenity areas have been established to bring staff back into the office for socialization and team building including an auditorium space, open cafés, an innovation area designed for makers, a game room equipped with a golf simulation, and a wellness + fitness space.
secret
The open office environment can accommodate up to 1052 staff members on an average of 2 days in the office. Glass doors feature transparent film that maintains visibility into conference rooms while obscuring TV screens, ensuring privacy during meetings.
