By transforming the former Joe Louis Arena site, the Residences Water Square activates a formerly underutilized riverfront site. With floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor spaces, and views of downtown to the Gordie Howe Bridge, this development is a celebration of Detroit’s ever evolving riverfront.

Floorplates are laid out for the most efficient unit count, shear-wall locations and floor slab thickness. To make the building appear taller, the exterior glazing is accented with a metal fin, featuring different glazing on each side. Looking from afar, one might see the shape of a key.
