Renovations have brought modern variations of the Hilton standard to the hotel, creating a new exterior and contemporary interior incorporating the latest in audio/video technology for guests and corporate events. The former landmark Kingsley Inn was built in 1958, with a west building added in 1983. In an effort to transform the space into a highly-desired meeting destination, the hotel's new owners were specifically looking for a warm, modern and energetic design that would have all the technology to meet the needs of the area's clientele. A complete remodel and re-branding transformed the hotel's exterior, along with extensive interior renovations of 144 guest rooms, 12,500 square feet of updated event spaces, offices, a swimming pool, and lobby, which was converted into a two-story lounge. In addition, adjacent to the pool, an exterior courtyard now provides areas for an outdoor lounge and special events space. The hotel's exterior renovation offers an elegant and contemporary design that blends in seamlessly with the surroundings of Bloomfield Hills. The interior overall color palette features a neutral base of gray tones accented with custom artwork representing the region and specialty lighting elements to create a welcoming atmosphere. The state-of-the-art guestrooms feature stylish, sophisticated furnishings, upgraded amenities, and the most up-to-date technology.
