Named in honor of the year Michigan State University was founded, 1855 Place, supports MSU’s Bolder By Design mission by enhancing the student living-learning experience and advancing a high-performance culture. The residential, mixed-use development includes housing units, office building, retail spaces, and abundant green spaces, fostering a vibrant, collaborative environment across 39 acres bordering the universities campus.

Our vision establishes a community for residents and Residential and Hospitality Services (RHS) and the MSU Athletics administration. The development offers a flexible concept, designed to provide a customized experience for both single students and student families in an accessible, walkable, urban setting.
