The Planned Unit Development process was used to maximize the use of this site. The program was developed through a series of staff, member, and community interviews used to understand their wants and needs. The building’s design reflects mid-century modern styling, influenced by Alden B. Dow, a prominent figure in the Midland community. Universal design principles were implemented to ensure the building is accessible to everyone.
