Strikingly visible because of its green-glass façade, this new multi-tenant office building, the first in downtown Detroit in nearly 15 years, occupies the historic site of the former Kennedy Square.  While modest at 10 stories, its key location, just west of Campus Martius Park, puts this building on stage with a new, distinctly modern look for downtown.  A boldly sloped roof line, accentuated by a 250 foot high white spire that will be specially lighted, creates another iconic component for the Detroit skyline.

The first floor of the building, intended for a number of restaurants, is sheathed completely in transparent glass to connect the “buzz” of the interiors to the activity of the streets, the plaza and Campus Martius. To continue the class A quality level of the building, the interior white marble walls and white ceiling have been punctuated by a large glass recess that will make the entire glass area glow, itself an art piece within its white environment.

The building was designed and constructed in little over a year, an extremely short timeline for a building of this scope.
